Creating a form to publish a Joomla! article

At the core of Joomla! are the articles in the "Content" component. This form lets you create an article directly from the user's input.

Getting ready

Go to the ChronoEngine.com Downloads area, navigate to ChronoForms | ChronoForms Applications, and download the submitcontent.cfbak file.

How to do it...

  1. 1. Restore the form into your Forms Manager.

  2. 2. Save and publish it if you need to. View the form in your browser and enter some test data.

  3. 3. Open the Article manager in the Site Administration area and check that the article is there.
