Understanding Audio Project Settings
Each time you create a new Project, Media Composer sets the Audio Project Settings to default values. However, you can adjust these settings if necessary.
How to do it...
Use either of these methods to access your Audio Project Settings:
Go to Project Window | Settings tab and double-click the Audio Project settings to open them.
Go to Tools Menu | Audio Tool. Click the PH button in the top-right corner to reveal the Peak Hold Menu and select Input Settings.
How it works...
Once you have opened the Audio Project Settings, you'll be presented with a window that has several sections (or tabs), that each offer various options.
In the tab labeled as Main, here are some options to be aware of:
The Sample Rate of your Project: The default is 48 kHz. This dictates the Sample Rate of audio when it is captured or imported as well as played during output.
