Real-time visualization

There are times when a full animation just takes too long and still does not bring enough added value to the project. Maybe the client doesn’t have the budget, or the design is still evolving. In this case, we can apply an alternative technique: converting the Archicad project into a real-time interactive visualization. Much like a 3D game, you can navigate freely around the model instead of watching a pre-rendered movie. You will sacrifice a little on the graphical side, but with current hardware (desktop and mobile), it is still a convincing display of the design, albeit not entirely photorealistic. But, more importantly, it can be experienced by the user without the need for an Archicad license.

There are two main approaches available to you: using the BIMx real-time engine, available with Archicad, or using an external system, such as a game engine or dedicated visualization software.
