Preparing, exporting, and manufacturing the puzzle
As we’ve done in previous chapters, we must arrange the parts in our design so they can be 3D printed in the most optimal way. For the puzzle, this involves separating the pieces so the joints are facing out, and rotating the pieces so flat sides are touching the workplane, as shown in Figure 18.28:

After rearranging the pieces, we can proceed with exporting them for production. You need to decide whether you would like to 3D print the pieces together or separately in different colors as I will be doing. Select all the pieces you want to print together, then press Export in the top-right corner of the design window to open options for exporting the design, as shown in Figure 18.29:
