User and Administrator Training

Proper training of both users and administrators is critical to any successful technology implementation. Despite its leveraging common web browsers as the primary user software, SSL VPN is not an exception. Users must be made to feel comfortable with their remote-access system, and, although far less training is usually necessary than with earlier remote-access technologies, attention must be given to preparing users for the adoption of or transition to SSL remote access. As such, the topic of training will not be discussed as simply a part of the preparation for implementing an SSL VPN, but rather, as an entire chapter: Chapter 6.
