Step 6 – Production rendering
Before you start your long running final rendering process, you should do a test render to see what you will get from hours of rendering. You should do a test rendering for each new scene that shows a new part of your model or contains proxy components that are not well represented in the SketchUp 3D scene window.
Test production render
You are ready to do a "dress rehearsal" of your final render just to smooth out any other issues and make final changes. This will be a version of your final render, but at a lower resolution and with lower quality settings.
If you have created a dedicated file for your daylighting scene, open this now:
Open the Thea Tool window and check that the camera resolution is still set to 800px.
Select the correct aspect ratio for your scene.
Open the Thea Rendering Window and select the Rendering tab.
Use the Adaptive (BSD) render mode and set the preset to 02. Exterior Medium. This will use the biased rendering engine with enhanced quality...
