Chapter 9: Desktop Studio Perspectives
Before starting any development, you must familiarize yourself with the development interface – that is, the integrated development environment (IDE). Once the business process for automation is finalized and the steps for automation are defined, IDEs are used to convert these agreed manual business steps into automation steps. SAP Intelligent RPA provides an IDE called the Desktop Studio to define the target application for automation and the steps to be performed on these target business applications.
Desktop Studio provides different perspectives that allow users to capture applications, capture screens/pages in the scope of the application, controls within application pages for automation, and define sequential actions to be performed on these controls. Desktop Studio also provides an interface that can be used to edit scripts generated by other perspectives.
