Reusing packages developed by Desktop Studio

You have learned by now that we use Desktop Studio to create scenarios that automate the identified repetitive activities. We can then compile and export a project containing one or many scenarios as a desktop package. As a refresher, here is how the project export process appears:

This exported package would become available as a .zip archive under the Export folder in the project directory. Once you have exported a desktop package, importing this package into Cloud Studio is simple.

You can import a desktop package from the Packages tab on the Automation Factory toolbar or from within an existing project. The URL to your factory tenant would be in the format https://<YOUR-TENANT>.hana.ondemand.com/#/home, where <YOUR-TENANT> will be your unique tenant name.
