Functional Monitoring

Functional Monitoring enables you to monitor the availability and reliability of the public APIs and private APIs that are part of your application networks. With Functional Monitoring enabled, you can continuously test APIs to measure their performance and functional behavior in production and non-production environments.

You can set up Functional Monitoring in the Functional Monitoring console in Anypoint Monitoring.

There are two ways to create a monitor in Functional Monitoring:

• Using the Anypoint Monitoring GUI
• Using the BAT CLI

Using the Anypoint Monitoring GUI on the Functional Monitoring console, you can create a monitor. Follow these steps:

1. Set up the monitor: Provide the monitor’s name, select the location where you want to create the monitor, and schedule the monitor:
