You have already explored the creation and management of policy packages, so in this section, you will focus on assigning individual policies outside of policy package management. Assigning policies to users and groups follows a similar procedure as assigning policy packages. The assignment of policies (and, by extension, the previously mentioned policy packages) serves as a key step in tailoring the Teams experience to meet the needs of different roles within an organization and to ensure every user is equipped with the right tools and abilities to collaborate in a safe, compliant, and productive manner.
