Agile approach – embedded QA
What do we mean by embedded QA? It’s often understood as having a permanent QA member assigned to the development team. But, it means more than just that. In truly embedded QA, QA becomes an instrumental part of game development in all development phases. QA takes the role of representing the player and participates not only in validating whether features work but also provides insight into how a player might interact with the feature and suggests changes that will benefit the game from a qualitative angle. Rather than just being placed towards the end of the development cycle, embedded QA participates in game development and decision-making from idea to execution.
Working in this way has several benefits for the team:
