Billing options
Billing or billing cadence has to do with the model with which a license payment is made as well as the frequency of payments. The billing cadence varies depending on the chosen license model.
In direct license models, such as when a customer acquires a solution directly via an online ordering portal, customers can choose to pay by credit card or bank account, by invoice, or by using a prepaid product key. The frequency of these payments can be monthly or annually, and customers can switch their payment methods and frequency over the course of a subscription.
