Marketing Automation is essentially the act of leveraging multiple sources of technology to create a marketing experience. Even though people often use the phrases “marketing automation” and “digital marketing” interchangeably, they are different things. Digital Marketing refers to digital channels that can be marketed on, whereas Marketing Automation refers to the systems and processes powering ultra-tailored, largely automated marketing experiences in both digital and analog media forms.
