When I was selected as an Adobe Education Leader, Mark was one of the first individuals I worked with. For an entire year, we worked on a project without seeing each other. We used the Adobe Connect web conferencing system to communicate and work remotely. We finally met in July 2014 in San Jose, California, during the Adobe Education Leaders summer institute. Having worked with him remotely for so many months, meeting Mark in person and having breakfast with him was a blessing. This is when I realized that no matter the technology, the human experience of an in-person conversation is priceless.
