Chapter 10: Power Virtual Agents in Teams
As we have seen throughout this book, Microsoft Teams contains a wide range of capabilities outside of the core collaboration feature set. Over the last couple of chapters, we have introduced the idea of Teams as a platform, exploring how to integrate low-code app development with Power Apps and incorporate workflows with Power Automate. Again, these tools are components of Microsoft Power Platform – a suite of low-code and no-code tools that integrate directly into Teams.
Power Virtual Agents, another service within the Power Platform, facilitates the easy creation of chatbots that can answer questions and work with data your teams use. In this chapter, we will refer to Power Virtual Agents as simply chatbots. These chatbots can be built and deployed directly inside of the Teams client.
