Introduction to the flight physics of a quadcopter

For this topic, we will understand a thorough concept of basic flight physics in terms of the hover, roll, pitch, and yaw moments of the quadcopter from scratch. Here, we will understand the forces acting in real time regarding flight and how different forces are acting in different ways; however, the result of all forces decides the movement of the drone in the air.

The following diagram shows the kinematics of a quadcopter and the different forces acting upon it. This helps us to study the different forces acting upon flight:
