Summary
In this chapter, we have learned about some important aspects of security, such as data protection through the least privilege model, and how Dataverse for Teams helps you implement it using roles. We looked at the different types of roles available within Dataverse for Teams, such as Owner, Member, Guest, Global Admin, and Colleagues with access. We also learned about how data security is provided by the platform through regular backups and encryption. Besides this, we learned how to create a new policy that will help administrators to prevent data loss by blocking certain connectors to critical data sources or specific connector actions. Finally, we saw how governance frameworks can be created and implemented within Dataverse for Teams.
In the next chapter, we will learn about the licensing aspects of Dataverse and Dataverse for Teams, which will help you understand the different types of licenses and the user entitlements that come alongside them.
