Collaborating with other users
The CC Libraries are a powerful tool for reusing content, moving it between different documents and applications, and backing up your assets, but they are even more powerful when used to collaborate between different users.
In this recipe, we are going to look at sharing our library with other CC users, allowing them to have view-only access and editing capabilities. We will also look at how to generate a link that can be shared with anybody you wish, allowing them to see the contents of your library through a browser.
Getting ready
To complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. Having done this, create a new library (I have called mine Brand Ideas Library) and add a few sample items to your library, such as color swatches, graphics, or text styles, as shown in the earlier recipes in this chapter.
