Exporting multiple still images using Markers
It is possible to place Markers (previously called Locators in earlier releases) into your Source clip and/or your Sequence and then instruct Media Composer to export the images where the Markers have been placed. One example where this might be useful is if you've gone through your movie with the Producer or Director and used Markers to select many frames which they would like to give to the website designer to use. Rather than have to export all of the images one at a time, you can do them ll at the same time.
How to do it…
Here we'll export multiple still images using Markers.
In either the Source Window or Record Window/Sequence, place Markers on the images you want to export.
Follow steps 2 through 12 in the previous Exporting A Still Image recipe.
While still displaying the Export Settings dialog window, enable the choices for both:
Sequential Files
Markers Only
Once you have set all the necessary options discussed in the Exporting A Still Image...
