Summary
In this chapter we learned multiple methods for creating user coordinate systems, including the UCS
command, and also covered manipulating the UCS icon and activating the dynamic automatic UCS. User coordinate systems are fundamental for accessing different working XY planes. We now know how to manage the saved UCS and to identify and change the UCS icon. We also view the most relevant variables that control UCS behavior. Now, we have the basis for the creation of real 3D models, which is coming next.
