Summary

Sending API requests allows you to inspect the responses and check that the API call is working the way you want it to. This is a manual process, though, and often you will need to create tests that can be run over and over again to check for product regressions. In order to do this, you need to be able to add checks to a request. This chapter has given you the ability to do that. You have learned how to add assertions that check various aspects of an API response.
