Description
Angular Projects isn't like other books on Angular – this is a project-based guide that helps budding Angular developers get hands-on experience while developing cutting-edge applications.
In this updated third edition, you’ll master the essential features of the framework by creating ten different real-world web applications. Each application will demonstrate how to integrate Angular with a different library and tool, giving you a 360-degree view of what the Angular ecosystem makes possible.
Updated to the newest version of Angular, the book has been revamped to keep up with the latest technologies. You’ll work on a PWA weather application, a mobile photo geotagging application, a component UI library, and other exciting projects. In doing so, you’ll implement popular technologies such as Angular Router, Scully, Electron, Angular service workers, Jamstack, NgRx, and more.
By the end of this book, you will have the skills you need to build Angular apps using a variety of different technologies according to your or your client’s needs.

Usually when I see some software that is outdated I find it easy to work with the updated software while looking at the old software, but with the outdated software in this book that was not the case, especially with the NX section.I am now a believer that following projects from a book is not the best source compare to videos. Even if you want to use the outdated project directions you will have multiple troubles since some of those libraries are not used anymore or not available. There were also some mistakes in the book that will make you scratch your head on why your project did not worked. I ended finishing 8/10 projects except two which were just a pain to work with the outdated software.Save yourself time and a headache, choose a video course project instead.

The book is fine for Angular v15 & prior versions (yes, even though it says v16) but the projects still utilize modules whereas the new standard since v17 are standalone components.I can't in good consciousness recommend this book to someone who wants to learn Angular through these projects considering that some of the "modern technologies" used in this book aren't yet compatible with the newest version of Angular. If you want to learn an older version of angular for an existing project, I get it, but I'd recommend investing the effort into updating your existing projects vs learning how to maintain them.
