Summary
In this chapter, we studied various approaches to designing an algorithm. We looked at the trade-offs involved in choosing the correct design of an algorithm. We looked at the best practices of formulating a real-world problem. We also learned how to solve a real-world optimization problem. The lessons learned from this chapter can be used to implement well-designed algorithms. In the next chapter, we will focus on graph-based algorithms. We will start by looking at different ways of representing graphs. Then, we will study the techniques to establish a neighborhood around various data points to conduct a particular investigation. Finally, we will study the optimal ways to search for information from graphs.
