Oveview of the WebSphere Application Server toolkit
The WebSphere Application Server toolkit is a tool that can be used to help with basic packaging of the J2EE application and provides tooling for publishing to your application server. You can also use the tool to perform basic unit testing, debugging, and profiling functions. With WebSphere 7, there has been a new product release called the Rational Application Developer Assembly and Deploy (RADAD) tool, which ships with WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and is fully licensed with WebSphere Application Server 7. It can be used to build, test, and deploy Java Platform Enterprise Edition (Java EE) applications on a WebSphere Application Server V7.0 environment.
