The PCoIP tuning tool
The final thing to cover in this chapter is dynamically tuning the virtual desktop machines using the PCoIP tuning tool, which is available on the web page link at http://tinyurl.com/ocqxykn.
Once you have the tool downloaded, launch the tool on the virtual desktop machine that you want to tune. You will see that you have a number of options to choose from:
Activate Profile (1): This allows you to activate a preset profile based on a default user, WAN user, and a task worker.
Manage Profiles (2): This allows you to adjust the settings of a particular profile. You can dynamically change the image quality, frames per second, and bandwidth and switch on build-to-lossless. To activate a profile, you will need to reboot.
Show Session Stats (3): This shows you the actual usage for things such as the bandwidth, frames per second, latency, and CPU utilization.
Show Session Health (4): This shows you a health score of the PCoIP session.
