Super Classifications of Data
One useful practice in data management is to use the alternate name to form super classifications of data. A super classification of data fits multiple occurrences of spreadsheet data.
As a simple example of a super classification of data, consider the data element monthly revenue. There may be any number of ways that a spreadsheet portrays monthly revenue. The super classification of data encompasses all of those different spreadsheet definitions.
The super classification of data elements becomes a component of the mnemonic dictionary.
