Zoom has consistently been evaluated in studies as having the highest quality video of any meeting or conferencing platform. I won’t bore you with the nerdy stuff of why, such as diving deep into QoS, latency, jitter, resolution, and so on. Just know that Zoom consistently wins for not the best video quality and is a great start for having high-quality video and audio.
But in this Appendix chapter, I want to dive into how you can improve the overall quality of your next Zoom meeting. It’s a multilayered approach with many factors that contribute. For example, there are some simple features you can configure in your client to improve audio and video quality, but there are also some advanced hardware configurations that you can implement to make Zoom professional-grade. All these features work synergistically together. The more features and hardware you implement, the higher the quality of your video and audio.
