Upgrading your site to a paid subscription
Once your site review is complete and your footer is finalized, the last step before publishing your site is to set up your paid Squarespace subscription. In the banner at the bottom of your site, you’ll select the button that says Subscribe.
When you select this button, you’ll be taken to a page where you will choose a plan and select a payment term: annual or monthly. If you are using any amount of custom code, you’ll need to choose a business plan. We start all of our clients on this plan because it provides the best value and the fewest limitations.
To complete your purchase, add your payment information and review it before selecting the Subscribe button.
If your trial is coming to an end but you’re not yet finished working on your site, reach out to Squarespace support to request a trial extension. If you build a site but don’t set up a paid account, your site content will eventually be deleted...
