This section concludes the chapter on the DA approach to implementing Lean–Agile practices on a team and organizational level. In this chapter, you have learned that DA is uniquely different in its view that each team within an enterprise should decide their preferred WOW. There are no executive mandates or edicts that should ever override a team's decision as to their preferred choices.
You should have a sound fundamental understanding of how and when to employ DA's six product-development life cycles, and how to access the hundreds of DA techniques in concert with the desired Process Goals and Decision Points. Moreover, you should now have the skills to employ the layers of the DA toolkit to implement the various levels of business agility.
The primary benefit of the DA approach is its flexibility and less dogmatic instructions that might otherwise hinder the acceptance of scaling Lean–Agile practices across the organization.
