Summary
In this chapter, we talked about the networking basics and explored lots of tools for interacting with the network. Earlier in the chapter, we mentioned an interview question, which was "how does the browser make a request to google.com?" After reading this chapter, you should be able to explain the OSI layer model, explain how DNS works, explain the parts of an HTTP request, and use tools to examine each part of the request.
Next, we'll talk about the Linux operating system and the cloud!
