Setting up the PCG Biome plugin

The PCG Biome plugin is a separate extension that comes with the latest version of Unreal Engine 5.4 and it helps users to create a foliage distribution across the landscape much faster! For this reason, let’s enable this plugin in our project:

  1. At the top of your window, go to Edit|Plugins. In the Plugins window, search for the PCG Biome Core plugin. It will ask you to restart your project, so click Restart!

  1. We will use one of the PCG assets to work with this example, which we will find inside the Biome plugin folder. First, let’s reveal the Plugin Content and Engine Content inside the project. Click on the Settings button and enable the Plugin Content and Engine Content folders.
