Finding the right graphic theme

Finding the right graphic theme or metaphors for your presentation is the first step towards creating great visuals. Choose a graphic theme or main graphic metaphor that ties everything in your presentation together.

A theme or main metaphor will help guide your search for materials in a single direction. The purpose is to help you find graphic items that do not just work for a single item or concept in your presentation. Rather, you need to find illustrations that relate to the main concepts. This will make your presentation appear unified and focused.

Some Prezi designers sit down and work with a pen and paper during this phase. This is a great idea because you will not get distracted by playing on the prezi canvas.
