Chapter 8. Moodle Configuration
Your system is now fully operational and has the look and feel to reflect the branding of your site. As with all complex software, there are a significant number of configuration activities that can be carried out to bring Moodle in line with your organization's needs and requirements.
Moodle comes with a multitude of configuration options. In this chapter we will cover the most important settings, some of which might not be relevant to your organization:
Accessibility
We are looking at Moodle supporting users with different types of accessibility problems such as visual impairment and motoric difficulties.
Localization
Moodle is used throughout the world, and is therefore required to support different locales, including different languages, dates, times, and time zones. We will be dealing with the configuration of all four localization elements.
