Defining extensible Power Platform data models
When creating a model for the data to be stored within Dataverse, solution architects review the business requirements, alongside Dataverse’s capabilities, and aim to create a design that fulfills short-term and long-term goals. To make those design decisions, solution architects must have a thorough understanding of Dataverse’s table and column capabilities, which are as follows:
Dataverse table types
At a high level, Dataverse tables may be categorized as either standard tables, activity tables, or virtual tables.
