To secure an entity list or an entity form, check the Enable entity permissions checkbox on the entity form list record. You can see this checkbox at the bottom of Figure 11.7.
Once you have enabled this option for a list or form, users will not be able to access these portal components. You will need to create an entity permissions record for the entity in the form or list in the Portal Management app, specifying the privileges on the records.
You then need to associate the entity permissions record with each of the relevant web roles. An authenticated user must be assigned a web role to access the portal. Once you have added entity permissions to the web roles, a user with that web role will be able to access the data.
