Design for the Xero API integration process

Sarah formulated the following design (from the Acceptance criteria section above) for the Xero API integration process:

1. Login page: Create a dedicated page featuring the Xero login button
2. Accounting app sign-in: The login button opens the accounting app’s sign-in page
3. Redirect to custom page: After sign-in, the app redirects to Sarah’s custom redirect page
4. Code extraction: On the redirect page, leverage Liquid and JavaScript to extract the authorization code
5. Power Automate flow: Utilize a Power Automate flow to construct the API request systematically
6. Request building: The request generated by the Power Automate flow includes all necessary data for a secure and comprehensive POST of invoices to the Xero API
