Summary

Non-relational data is indispensably important to organizations, and knowing where to store this data to meet the needs of a project can contribute greatly to its success. In this chapter, we were able to go through storage offerings for non-relational data, including the Azure NoSQL database options.

In this chapter, we explored Azure Table storage, Azure Blob storage, Azure Files storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.

In the next chapter, we will go into more detail about Azure Cosmos DB, provisioning a database in Cosmos DB and evaluating its settings and characteristics.
