Scenario 4

Rob wants to view the vendor records as a timeline rather than as a list. The vendor records would be displayed based on their created date and grouped based on the vendor's name.

Let's look at how we can resolve this scenario.

Resolving the scenario

The scenario can be resolved by using Timeline control on the specified view so that records would appear on a timeline view. Here, we will use the control Active Vendors view of the Vendor entity. Let's look at the steps involved:

  1. Navigate to Settings | Solutions and choose the Vendor Management application. Navigate to Vendor Entity views and click on Active Vendors to edit the view:
