These options can be a little tedious to set, but taking the time to do it dramatically enhances the experience of students who need it. Learning is a right everyone has, so it is part of our duty, as teachers, to ensure that all students can access our course content.
In some countries, making course content accessible is a legal requirement. Accessibility guidelines and standards are commonly known as Section 508 in reference to an amendment of the US Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
