Exploring the supporters of observability
Who can support an observability implementation? The short answer is anyone who is going to benefit from it. This ranges from the technology teams who will benefit from increased stability and understanding the complex infrastructure, as well as reduced operating costs, to operations teams who are going to benefit from the reduced mean time to detect/repair, reduced alert fatigue, and more. The business gets insights into how the services are operating and uses these insights to increase the customer experience, thereby advancing the business offering. That’s pretty much most of the organization. What we are going to do is suggest a few more very interesting groups of people who can help and support you in the observability journey.
