Summary
We covered a lot of information in this chapter. We learned about the costs of hosting, the different options on the market, and whether it makes sense to opt for a bundled solution with everything configured for us, or a DIY option, which offers more flexibility but is also more complex and expensive. We also learned why we should deploy our applications behind Nginx. Finally, we learned how to debug an application in production mode.
We are now ready to use what we’ve learned in this book and add Ruby to our arsenal.
