Trends in Cyber and Privacy Laws and Their Impact on DFIR
When considering the cloud, organizations must factor in the legal risks associated with their data being hosted off-premises by a third-party cloud service provider. Jurisdiction plays a key role in cloud forensics. This chapter aims to uncover the legal, privacy, and contractual risks that typically arise out of cloud usage and its impact on forensic investigations.
