How do I buy and download an eBook?

Where there is an eBook version of a title available, you can buy it from the book details for that title. Add either the standalone eBook or the eBook and print book bundle to your shopping cart. Your eBook will show in your cart as a product on its own. After completing checkout and payment in the normal way, you will receive your receipt on the screen containing a link to a personalised PDF download file. This link will remain active for 30 days. You can download backup copies of the file by logging in to your account at any time.

If you already have Adobe reader installed, then clicking on the link will download and open the PDF file directly. If you don't, then save the PDF file on your machine and download the Reader to view it.

Azure is an ocean. With so many services to learn, it becomes challenging to find a "structured" path to learn it. There are so many Lego pieces and as an Architect, you need to find the right solution for the customer. What this book offers is a learning path so to speak to understand the core services that Azure has to offer. It doesn't go in depth and down the rabbit hole (the Azure documentation is pretty good if you wish to go in depth) but what I liked most about the book is that it offered guidance on when to use what. For example, when should you use an Azure Service Bus in contrast to Azure Storage Queues. This is something that clearly reflects the experience the Author has and his has clearly articulated those in the book. I carry this book in my back pack and its a must have!Despite your job role, I would recommend this book as the first resource to start learning Azure

With Cloud quickly becoming the only option with Platform as a Service being a cost effective way to get solutions up and running and to market quickly. It is therefore imperative to be able to quickly come to terms with the multitude of services that Microsoft offer via Azure.The Microsoft documentation is very good but it is far too easy to spend a vast amount of time in different documents written in different years and not finding the correct way to do something.This book is vital for all Solution Architects that are involved in projects from a strategy perspective and/or hands-on with the Portal. It is well written and easy to read and difficult concepts are explained.Prior to searching the Internet for a new concept that I need to understand, I would refer straight to the book.With new services evolving really quickly, I trust that this book will be updated yearly due to the pace of change, it would be advisable to keep this book as the Number 1.

I found this book a must-have reference for Azure Architects. From basics to design patterns the book starts with building right foundation. Then it builds on that with essential architecture topics that you have to work on day to day basis like High Availability, Scalability, Security in Cloud, Monitoring and Auditing etc. The book also covers some advanced topics which are creating the buzz in the industry today like IoT, DevOps etc.as related to Azure. Overall, I highly recommend this book for beginners as well as advanced users.
