Summary
In this chapter, we began by discussing the concepts of vector and raster art and the differences and unique characteristics of each and where to use them. We talked about how this is related to Affinity Designer's workflow with the introduction to Personas. We explored the differences between the Designer and Pixel Personas while covering the advantages of each and the working relationship between them. With visual examples, we got a sense of the workflow from vector drawing to pixel painting, and we talked a little bit about the Pixel Persona's tonal adjustment features beyond its painting abilities. Finally, we learned a couple of ways to export your work from Affinity Designer with an introduction to the Export Persona and why it's best suited for exporting multiple objects.
In the next chapter, we'll be looking at customizing your Affinity Designer experience. We'll cover preferences, keyboard shortcuts, and workspace, tool, and toolbar customization...
