Understanding the sidebar

The sidebar is located on the right-hand side of the interface. This section enables you access to work with Layers, Channels, Swatches, Paths, Navigator, Brushes, and a lot of other tools.

The small arrows (<>) above the panel allow you to show or hide the tabs for the Layers, Swatches, and so on, when you left-click on the <>. See Figure 3.39:
