Chapter 8. Maintenance
My family and I live in Florida. Living in Florida has its perks, but it also has its downsides. For example, I must mow my lawn every week or two in order to keep it from looking like my house is in the middle of the jungle. When I don't mow my lawn as often as I should, it takes me twice as long to complete the job, and mowing extremely long grass wreaks havoc on my lawnmower's blades.
Not only do I need to mow my lawn, but I need to perform some basic maintenance on the mower itself. I need to check the fuel levels, change the oil from time to time, check the spark plug, and more. Over time, I stopped mowing my lawn as frequently as I needed to, I stopped performing maintenance on the mower by not changing the oil or checking the spark plug, and I basically let everything slide. One day, I finally decided to get outside and mow the lawn but the motor refused to turn over! I couldn't cut the already very long grass. Long story short, I had to pay to get the mower...
