The SAP GUI connector

SAP GUI for Windows is an application that can be used to access SAP applications such as SAP ERP and SAP Business Suite. You can capture SAP applications using the SAP GUI connector. To automate a SAP GUI application as part of business process automation, SAP Intelligent RPA provides a specific connector called the SAP GUI connector.

SAP GUI connector is an extension to the UI Automation connector. In the previous section, you may have noticed that the Capture Application dialog does not list the SAP GUI connector. So, the SAP GUI application needs to be captured using the UI Automation connector and then you must select the SAP GUI connector from the Capture Page dialog. We will learn how to capture a page in SAP GUI in detail shortly.
