Introduction
Now that we are aware of how to utilize Salt to create resources on a cloud service provider's platform, it is time now to get into more details about the various other resources that are configurable on a cloud provider with Salt.
Any cloud service is incomplete without continuous development in the cloud offerings provided, and with a lot of competition emerging in the cloud service industry, it is extremely important to provide more features in order to stay ahead of the competition.

In this chapter, we will look into a few such important cloud offerings provided by Amazon Web Services and how we can utilize Salt in configuring these resources.
