Marketing Cloud components
Marketing Cloud is composed of several different products built on a variety of technologies. Many of the core messaging and journey building components reside on the core Marketing Cloud Engagement platform but newer products added to the portfolio such as Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Salesforce CDP, and Marketing Cloud Personalization are entirely separate. This hybrid approach to technology means that fully leveraging Marketing Cloud and understanding its role in a B2C solution means understanding the Lightning PlatformLightning Platform as well as the various technologies within the Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
