Introduction

In Prezi, we use the concept of transition. This concept is used to describe the transitioning or moving forward

of one frame to the next in present mode.

By carefully working with the various relationships between the frames on the Prezi canvas, we can make our presentation move forward in present mode (from one frame to the next) in a way that looks nice and supports our message.

All transitions are defined by what happens in a move from one frame to the next. Are these two frames close or far? Are they of equal or different sizes? Are they right-way-up or turned?

Tip

Because transitions are defined by the frames on the path in your prezi, it is a good idea to work with transitions as an integrated part of the design phase.

Designing your transitions

By designing and adjusting placement, size, and turning of the frames on our canvas, we can create transitions that are nice to look at.

We can use the following three parameters to design and adjust transitions:
